“What a great job! Your presentations received great reviews.

You left your audiences wanting more!”

Matthew

As a keynote speaker, Matthew Gollub offers the rare ability to thoroughly engage, entertain and inspire. He hooks his audience from the opening drum solo and reaquaints listeners with why they love books. Call on Matthewfor diversity training--or to promote reading at school and at home. Call on him also to address parents of all backgrounds in English, Spanish, or both at the same time! Between hand-claps, chants and rhythmic storytelling, Matthew moves listeners to, in turn, move kids. He draws on his background not only as an author, but as a literacy consultant, parent, soccer coach, and performer who has dazzled audiences at over 800 elementary schools. No one sleeps through a Matthew Gollub performance!

Matthew has been a keynote speaker at numerous national and statewide conferences including Reading the World, Head Start, Teachers for Tomorrow, California Reading Association (CRA), California School Library Assocation (CSLA), California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE), the North Carolina Reading Association (NCRA), the Massachusetts Reading Assocation (MRA), Head Start, and Migrant Education Even Start (MEES). He has also been a featured speaker for Families in Schools, the Texas Library Assocation (TLA) and the International Reading Association (IRA). Many of the above conferences invite him back regularly.

Conferences may purchase copies of Matthew's award-winning books to distribute as an added benefit to participants. The choices range from books with CD's to paperback books in English and Spanish. Often conferences report an uptick in attendance when they publicize that participants will receive Matthew's books!

Matthew may also be able to contribute more than one presentation per conference. He can tailor keynote addresses to anywhere from 20–60 minutes; then perhaps provide a "break-out" session depending on times and logistics.

Please contact Matthew directly for availability and fees by email or call (707) 544-4720.
